Took a while to compose myself for this. When my father passed two years ago we all went to Hood River for the service. The weather was horrible. We did not know or expect it but two military men showed up in full dress. Taps were played, and the flag was folded and given to me
as well were his ashes. In his later years dad had become a very good gardener. As I messed with my own gardens, I finally knew what to do.
His ashes are sprinkled in the gardens but mostly under the great magnolia tree. That is what I did. Thank you all for past and present service
