It is not cheap...but I see it as the cost of doing business. If I was just using it for my own use with my own systems I am not sure I would use it. But, I have over 25 clients that I charge for system maintenance. Some are weekly, some monthly, some quarterly. They more than pay for the cost of the license.
I did not like the updates at first but now that I have used it for a while I do. It is more intuitive than previous versions.
Depending on frequency of use, you can use the free version. TeamViewers system will, however, detect frequent connections and start to time out the connections at about 5 minutes. They will then prompt for purchase. I was able to run it on version 9 for free for over a year without issue. Now, I have version 11, that is perpetual, and version 13 which is a yearly subscription. I have not gone to ver 14 yet.
