Silver reflective heat seal
« on: August 31, 2018, 11:21:43 AM »
Couple questions please
Looking to apply silver reflective to common tee shirts. No ASTM or ANSI standards involved but is for a fire dept.
will cut the designs on Roland 24 in.
What brand material can you recommend example Stahls  or Siser  or other ?.
One of the designs will be a typical left chest Maltese cross type other large back text.
I am ok with the cutter I think just looking for material experience especially with some finer detail images
Thanks

Stahl 3m reflective is best durability, expensive but best. I have tried both the 3m and stahls brand, 3m best.

you can also order precut from Stahl's. More expensive, but easier. . .

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

We've tried a couple, difficult to weed, you really have to get the knife just right and weed slowly... Sister's was pretty good.

I use Chemica Hotmark Reflex.  I LOVE IT.  Chemica just put a warehouse in the metro Atlanta area, and their cad-cut vinyls(or polyurethane) are fantastic.

Brad you're lucky dog everything right there at your fingertips, we have a next level warehouse very close by but can't get anything from them thus far.
