Has anyone ever tried it? If so how do you cure the ink? Conveyor dryer?

there's plenty of this type of stuff on the interwebs.
This particular one does not heat set the ink.

Curing it wouldn't be a very big issue, as who is going to wash the wood piece...

We've printed on wood and other items for years. Using an IRC (Inkjet Receptive Coating) will give you the best results. You apply it, let it dry, print, let it dry. For durability you would want to top coat the wood for protection.
