CCI Discharge Question

I am about to run a bunch of white on Black Hammer T discharge prints and was wondering if you CCI users are getting the brightest white going 80/20 D-White to D-Base with 5% activator.  Also what mesh would you use for the front pocket print?  We normally discharge big logos like the back with not much detail and use 156 S mesh very successfully usually double stroking.  Should I go up to a 200 for the small left chest logo here and double stroke or what.  We are still trying to get our discharge game down after 10 yrs of printing straight plastisol.  These are for my buddies shop he runs and they wanted to go with as soft a logo as possible for the shop guys.  We are using Fixer at 3% and activator at 5%.  Any other suggestions....Yes my dryer is fine!!  Thanks

We don't base out the CCI white at all. Just activator and penetrant and maybe a splash of water if
it's the bottom of the 5 and some moisture has been lost.

Lowest mesh the art will expose cleanly on (to an extent)  is the rule of thumb for us on discharge.
If you have to go higher and hit it twice NBD.

If this were me I would just do straight 100% white. 230 on the front and 180 on the back. Saves a little ink and still get good coverage. I use CCI white straight up all the time. Just add a little water to make it less thick. Gets bright results.

I use CCI straight then add matsui fixer, retarder and softener to it. We love the results.

I am assuming your reasoning for the 80/20 mix was to achieve a slightly better hand thru the 156. That does work but you will lose some briteness. The CCI d-white is a little thick so a small scoop of base 5-10 percent wont hurt you but since your double stroking anyway bump your mesh to 200 go with a 70/90/70 and run the white 100 percent with a little little water and you will get a great result and the hand your trying to get with your previous set-up
