Automatic industrial print head cleaners
« on: January 30, 2018, 12:34:07 PM »
Anyone have any Experience  with these?

For the cost of 1.5 Gen 4 heads, I can get a recovery system...

Just thinking ahead, as we now have 9 gen 4 heads in the shop....

If these are effective it may be worth it...

Anyone have experience?

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

This works very well.  ROQ uses this to recondition print heads from the Hybrid Fuji Starfire heads.

Yep the one above is what I'm talking about...

Looks like it would be worth it.

Obviously not if you have a head strike, but if its just cogged nozzles, you may be able to revive a pricey head

I just bought one, I will definitely update you guys with the experience, and maybe even setup a service if anyone needs heads cleaned!

Cheers!

That sounds like a pretty good idea! Which heads does it support?

A list so vast, it makes me realize I know very little about industrial print heads!

Be VERY careful!!!
The solvents they send with those units are strong! A couple of them delaminated some of the gen 4 heads we cleaned. Just make sure you pay close attention to their instructions.
