I remember when the local San Francisco radio station was having a "Battle of the Bands" contest between the Trashmen (Bird is the Word) and these guys from England that nobody had ever heard of that were desparately in need of haircuts (The Beatles)......by the way, The Beatles won the contest (I Want To Hold Your Hand).
