Get a Hawk.  They will eat rats.
Sorry...I'm no help at all.

How are rats with loud noises?  Like would leaving a radio on over night help keep them away?

killing them will only satisfy your anger...There are way too many to battle. you don't need traps, you need a deterrent like moth balls, peppermint oil, dryer sheets, barn owl... Start with plugging all the holes and access points. Once the infestation settles down, then move on to traps. This is also a great excuse to enter the world of PCP air guns...If this isn't possible, then move. All you need is rat poop in a box of finished product ...health code violation for employees..sounds troublesome
...keep doing what you're doing, you'll only get what you've got...

Im going pick up my mouse version of this right now.

https://www.amazon.com/Victor-Electronic-Rat-Trap-Reusable/dp/B000LNX06C

I was literally sitting at my desk last night with an air soft pistol waiting to see a mouse show himself again.

Done with that nonsense!

Rats are definitely different than Mice, but the Victor mouse electric mouse trap can absolutely eradicate them.

I'm a live and let live guy, but if you have an infestation, that trap is the answer.  It kills them (humanely), then drops them in a tray and resets itself.  Can kill 10 at a time before you empty and reset.  That will put a serious dent in the population.

Also, they can't see that anyone died, so there is no deterrent for them to learn.

that's cool.  They aren't stupid animals.  just gotta build a better mousetrap.

You will have to really seal the entry points.  I've heard they don't like to chew great stuff foam, but I doubt that is true.  You will need to use metal flashing to seal the entry points.

Also works really well for packing in your reflux column.. that's a good price for 100'.. might have to get some.

They probably have something like this going on:

Warning - bit graphic.  Kinda satisfying though since I hat rats / mice.
