Tape residue on screens - Cleaning
« on: May 22, 2017, 09:22:31 AM »
Hi. Just saw a post about Goof Off and machine cleaning so I decided to post my accidental discovery.

If you have issues with tape leaving residue on frames or screens, just spray some Waterbase Screen Opener on the area, wait a few seconds and scrub off.
its that easy.

DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES COMPLETELY WITHIN MY CONTROL YOU SHOULD GET YOUR OWN TEE SHIRT AND A SHARPIE MARKER BY NOON TOMORROW OR SIMPLY CALL SOMEONE WHO GIVES A SHIRT.

Or use a rubber based adhesive tape to begin with and no residue

I have still seen some residue from Gorilla tape/Newman tape/Pelican Tape.

But it cleans up fairly easy.
