Squeegee ROLL?

What do you use or how are you cutting the rolls?  It it as simple as an exacto razor knife and ruler?


Is there anything to be looking out for on the ends when dropping them into the holder..like not letting it extend past? rough edges, ets?

we do not let the blade go past the edge of the holder.... once its in place we cut the corners with a fimor tool made for that

fimor corner cutter does not work with the triple duro blades. The center is too hard so it skips and cuts at an angle rather than flush. It works great on singles though.

We had that problem at first but it was because the cutter pads were not leveled properly...... I just cut about 50 squeegees last week and it was good

I wonder if your blade is really dull?

I wonder if your blade is really dull?

that would make sense. It was that way since we bought it, but it was a show demo so it could be that the blade wore out at the shows. I'll check.

That's the exact one we use here too. I use a dremel bit on the corners because we're not as fancy as Danny or Pierre

we just have our cut to length when we order them.

I cut them with a sharp knife but that tool looks cool, think I'll order one.
I usually cut the blades a little longer than required and then use a wheel grinder to grind them flush with the holder and at the same time I round the corners on the printing side.

Always just used a box cutter, scor both sides and bend the roll and it just pops off nice and flat (triple duro).  I use a little orbital hand sander to smooth it out a bit and round the corners.
