just spent an hour trying to save a 48 X96 inch CDR file as a bit map or jpeg etc .
My damn Corel file will only allow a maximum of 25 inches wide at any resolution?
need to send this to signs 365 for a full sheet print but can't seem to get it to size
What the hell am I doing wrong or not doing right please?

On a Mac here but instead of, as you say, save as - we "export" file as .jpg.
That should duplicate file at your needed vector size.
