butt registration and print Black and 1st white than flash and then white again.  Use a 230mesh or higher for your black and you shouldn't have to flash in between the black and the first white

Dk,  sorry I didn't finish my thoughts I'd print the same as everyone was saying, on a manual you can't go wrong either way, your going to have 2 flashes anyway.

Black first, white butt reggie second, and possibly a second slightly choked white third just a thought.

I would have done white / flash / black / 2nd white

but one problem I have is I can't flash black ink and white at the same time...quartz flash time needed for black ink is about 1.6secs vs almost 4sec for white ink - black ink would boil....

anyone else have this problem? this is with flash at normal position (2.5 inches from platen) and as high as it can go (3.5 if that)

Wait, DK what kind of flash are you using? Is it auto or foot pedal controlled?

When I print on my manual I have an ir flash just sitting over a platen arm stationary.  Meaning it wouldn't matter what color I print first as I would rotate the pallets around for every screen.  Rather than rotate the screens back and forth between white/black AND rotate the pallets on the last two prints.

I'd have my flash sitting over station two of my 6/4 antec:

print all 4 blacks, every time I print it goes under the flash so black gets flashed
print white screen 8 times, again every time each pallet gets indexed station two is flashing so you don't really have to be careful taking them off the press.

I guess I feel like with my Antec it's easier to whip the pallets around than it is to move two screens back and forth quickly as they're spring-loaded and you can't really jerk them fast.  May take longer but works for me!

The flash has a foot pedal, love that feature.
