16" wide boards, 16" wide tape, 18" wide boards, 18" wide tape, if we load 14's we use the 16 and cut it. Since we go through the 16" so much as that's our main day to day board, we like to lessen the slice time to just front and end of board by using tape exact width, saves a lot of time if we have a week with several tape changes. One thing I love about m&r boards, they cut the top rubber about a 1/32 of an inch in all the way around, makes for a perfect notch to run a vinyl application squeegee down and then a box cutter. never lapping tape to the underside of the board and we never have to mess with it once its squeegee'd down.
