Mini Sprint VS. Sprint 2000

I am looking at a new dryer but space is a problem. I have quotes on a Mini Sprint with 8' of heat and an Sprint 2000 with 8' of heat. is anyone running a mini sprint ? your thoughts.

Mini sprint- 200,000 BTU
Sprint 2000- 300,000 BTU

They should run exactly the same belt width to belt width.

Running a mini and love it. Gas usage and electric cost me in Colorado about 100 a month.

we have a mini sprint here... love it and I'll echo Shane's comments on the gas and electric...  $75-$100 a month running the dryer 8-10 hours per day.  We ran a 2 shift month and we were up at $135 for that month.

only complaint is that even with 10' of heat, our chamber is too short to run maximum production on waterbase jobs (But that's not the fault of the dryer)

Not sure if they're making a mini-3000 yet or not, but the access panels in the 3000 really look nice.. to clean the mini and the 2000, you have to take the dryer apart...

What are the main or most important differences between these? Haven't looked into it at all, just curious.

We have both.  Both have 12 feet of heat.  I could be wrong but I think the bigger heat exchanger is because of the larger air volume (wider unit).  We run two presses on the mini but one press is almost always on sleeves/pockets.  Runs the same speed as the larger sprint.  You can't go wrong with either.

We do make a 3000 series. It is no longer called the mini as that was confusing to some so it's now just the Sprint 3000- 38
