Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas Edison
Had a sales call last week from UPS, they "noticed a increase in shipping" and wanted to know if there was anything they could do to get more business basically. Sales guy introduced himself as Jesus. Not the Hispanic pronunciation, the real deal English pronunciation(walks on water, water into wine, etc.). I remember thinking it was funny at the time but I was multitasking so no wise crack. Anyway, got a call today from a "new" UPS sales guy, Phil. Apparently my last rep was just promoted, and now Phil was going to help get me set.... I said to him, "I don't know Phil, you got some big shoes to fill considering my last salesman was Jesus... He only found it mildly funny.
Thanks for shutting me down guys Must of been like one of those lame jokes your dad use to tell. Unfortunately I have now found myself uttering 1 or 2 of those these days.

Unfortunately I have now found myself uttering 1 or 2 of those these days.My wife constantly tells me (while rolling her eyes) about my "dad humor". And I'm not even a Dad, so I have no excuses. I personally would have went the Big Lebowski route on the joke, but it would have also included profanity which is always a bit risque when speaking with a new business acquaintance.https://youtu.be/F1SfzV67Bqw?t=64
