Found it's worth the 4 extra dollars to buy new frames/screens/mesh.

I spend too much money on equipment...

if you have the time, get a 25 x 36 roller frame and stretch it up. let it relax, stand on it and whatnot to stretch the mesh and bring it back to tension then you can glue that to your static frame, cut out the excess and repeat.
