It's exciting for us since this is the very first step in our expansion. Next step is finding a bigger location and then some even bigger equipment. But in the mean time we can start to improve this section of the company. And we're also stepping up our marketing plan to help push us along...

I appreciate all the reviews and reading I've done here learning the nuances about LED units, which really helped me pick one out.  So thank you to all who have posted your troubles and efficiencies with them!

I think you'll really dig that unit...  the light source in there (450 watts at 405nm) is considered by many experts to be the optimal light to penetrate the emulsion.

Yeah, I like how Saati discussed all their tests and trials about the lamp. Scott Fresener had a great video interview with them on it a while back discussing it and I read a lot positive reviews on people that just use the lamp.

Thanks!   We had a Nuarc MSP 2125.  We're planning to upgrade to an Auto later this year, so we needed to upgrade our exposure unit.  We've gotten great use out of our Nuarc, but it was old and heavily used before we even bought it and we've had to do a bunch of repairs in the past couple years, so it was time for an upgrade anyways.

So far we've exposed a handful of spot color screens that came out perfectly fine and hitting a solid 7 on the strip. Though we have been using a free sample of CryoCoat and this emulsion is noticeably thinner than any other we have tried before. We're having a tough time getting our EOM up over 5% , so we need to work that out.

But so far the machine is functioning great. We have a few sim process jobs coming up in the next couple weeks and some discharge and water base jobs and that's we're we'll be able to really put the machine to the test.

Once we get through those I'll post up another thread reviewing all the details of the machine... should be by the end of the month.
