Source for transfer paper
« on: April 21, 2016, 04:25:12 PM »
We have a source for really good transfer paper, but at $0.33 per 12x12 sheet it is pricey! I just ordered some from Tech Support SPS and while it is good, it is nowhere near as slick as the one we use currently.

Can somebody recommend good paper and the source?

thanx,

pierre
Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Ace Transfer, I think they are in Ohio too. Their website is horrendous but they have really great paper.

Ace screen supply all the way. UltraStrip 3000 has been working great for us. The cold peal paper they offer is great too. And their transfer powder is great too.

We run T105 from ace. But we do cold peel here.  Comes out to ten cents a sheet before shipping.

Paper we like is much slicker than the T-75. It seems to release better at cold temps and even works very well (100%) to release at high temps.

T-105 is a heavier version of T-75, I believe.

Pierre, definitely let us know how the one stroke system works for you.  I'm attracted to the ELT's properties of being able to run down the dryer at regular shirt temps and like that it uses our house paper.  Just haven't had time to try it!
