Howdy & Thank You!
« on: March 02, 2016, 01:08:57 PM »
Hi Folks,

I wanted to thank everyone for sharing their experiences and expertise on this forum. I found TSB while researching equipment looking for reviews etc.. and I've learned and relearned quite a bit.

Last November I hit the ejection button on a 15 year high tech career (support & operations) to come full circle back to my original love and career of printing. It's been roughly 25 years since I left screen printing. I just simply couldn't stomach multi hour video conferences that could occur at anytime 24x7 while sitting (rotting) in an office. Only things I miss are my old peers, managing great teams, and providing solutions to customers.

I'm currently in the last stages of setting up my business and wrapping up testing. The last few months I've been testing all aspects of production from pre-press to various inks and having a blast.

Attached is my first 55LPI attempt at simulated process from last week. This was the first print after inking up and by the 6th or so shirt I started seeing the blending I was after.

I have a long way to go to catch up with everyone but I'm looking forward to the challenges, the fun, and meeting new peers!

Cheers!
Doug

I want one. Where can I buy? My son in law is a bike mechanic, and I think he would love it.

And note that I edited to my post to reflect your return to the industry rather than starting from scratch!
