I think they sell them in gallons, not very heavy that way.

Yeah,  yeah, yeah, but like I stated earlier, I didn't set out to get a 5er, that must have been the hidden key to the extra discount, I've always got singles. But, if someone does get a 5er and looking for an easy clean way to make it work, This is it. One drip mark from pouring out of the 5. I think even when I get my next batch of singles, I'll still pour them into this paint can with the sealable lid, man it loads the scoop coater nice and clean, no drips, and I know you all get drops from your gallons when filling your coaters.

I make a bigger mess going from the scoop coater back into the gallon bucket. I seem to get it on the floor, the walls, my pants...everywhere but the damn bucket. I am not allowed in my own dark room.

very nice find Mike.

I still like the gallons.

I know what you mean man. I try to monitor how much I have in the coater so that if it's just a little it gets trashed. Too much of a chance that the coater scraped off some gunk from a screen, or if it's a 30-60 screen coating session, I really don't want to put anything that might have gotten in the coater back in the bucket, but if I do, I just hold it up on it's side, and use an Ultimate ink card on it's corner down in the angle of the coater and one swipe moves it all out nicely into the bucket.

Looks like about a gallon size, probably a good size to shoot for.

Hey guys, I've already heard the answer, "don't buy emulsion in 5's". But, ok, I will try not to in the future,, but for now, does anyone have a trick for pouring out of the 5 without wasting or making a mess? I've thought of going to lowes and picking up one of these easy pour spouts, just not sure if it will screw onto the opening on the bucket I have. I'm sure someone has mastered a trick besides, don't buy 5 gal buckets.

Thanks guys!
Mike
