What's the price tag on this?

Should one expect to have screens that are ready to dry and coat or is shooting out screens with a pressure washer still required to do what this piece of equipment and others like it are not made to do?

Other brands you'd recommend?  Not looking for a big boy - something smaller like this, but I have my doubts about how effective they are - if the screens are completely clean and ready to coat when they've been run through, then great. But, if more time pressure washing is required after, it seems to not be that much of a time saver. I would think this would be a huge asset, but it doesn't seem like a lot of people may have them/don't mention them and that may be telling without saying anything at all(?).

If I'm remembering g correct Rich said in another post, that if you want them degreased there is a station at the end to do this, if not then you are good to go.

I know they will have one at LB but I'm more interested in seeing one in the wild.

An automatic screen cleaner is a no-brainer at the price posted.
That's assuming that it does what it says it will do. I, like the OP,
have my doubts, as otherwise I'd think everyone would have one.

the unit is newly launched and I don't think there are any out yet. We just started building them.

I had a question on it, how many chemical reservoirs are there?

IE I'm pretty sure there is a separate ink remover and emulsion remover reservoir,
but what about dehaze or degrease?

From my understanding the emulsion remover and ink degradent have to be done in separate tanks/units.

There is a company up here that makes them,  Screen Systems, they will have a booth in LB.

This is not true of the Eco-Tex Mini, or for that matter the larger Eco-Tex - a single tank holds both chemicals (and a bunch of water).  The chemicals are formulated to be blended in the tank in this manner.

That's pretty cool!  Is it a special chemical that has to be bought through M&R or do multiple companies offer it?

We've tried the all-in-wonder dip tank solutions. I've never been impressed.
My understanding is that the chemistries of a true ink degradent and an emulsion remover
do not play along together, and compromises are made. Mainly using a surfactant to just
release plastisol ink when emulsion comes off as opposed to making the ink miscible.

That said, I'd still like to see one in the wild. The price listed is essentially the cost of
an employee to do the same for a year, and though we take all precautions, any chance
to reduce exposure to chemicals should always be taken.

Well eb, to see one in action if you're not getting to a show, that's a lot shorter drive than Chicago or Tennessee  (though the last stretch between LA and SD is a killer!)

From what I understand on the Eco-Tex Mini is - All the machine does is spray the chemicals on for you. You still have someone standing there pressure washing them out.

I was a little disappointing when I heard that.

PLEASE correct me if I am incorrect though, because if it indeed pressure washes the screens it will be next on our list.

not according to the website.  I looks like you have the option of leaving the emulsion intact it says, which could be very useful.
