Cheapest Dip Tank that will hold 2-4 23x31 frames?
« on: December 16, 2015, 01:38:16 PM »
Any thoughts?  About to upgrade my exposure unit and my one at a time DIY dip tank isn't going to cut it for post exposure soon.  Not sure I want to DIY one that holds the volume of water for a 2-4 screen tank.

Probably this one. Contact them directly and may be able to swing a really nice deal from them.

we use a few of these - they don't have the hold down bar like CCI but if you wanted to you could add one - we hold (6) 23x31s

I'd buy those in a second, but not going to be able to drive to Atlanta...

$77 shipping turns that deal into "meh" pretty quickly. :(

would you take the booth apart and ship it? I know you said no shipping, but I thought if I asked nicely . . .

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

...hey sorry guys, the washout sink is sold. I still have two of these larger tanks. Only one has the custom metal frame (as in the pic). They both have lids.

...I imagine these arent cheap to ship, even though they dont weigh all that much.... as they are dimensionally awkward, and UPS tacks on for large SIZE items regardless of weight.

i bought one of CCI tanks, relabeled as Ryonet.  It was when i was first getting into this so please don't laugh, anyhow, i struggled with it compared to my DIY box for a very long time, worth every penny to me.  Expensive but I don't regret it at all.  Heck even my wife encouraged me on that purchase.

We have both, and I like the CCI better.
It does lay the screens sideways compared to the blue tanks,  so if that might be a problem stay away.

...I guess I can look into shipping if anyone is interested in the ones I have. I guess when you buy these new  you pay shipping anyway. Maybe I can just wrap these in plastic ship-wrap and slap a label on em. No box necessary, as they pretty much are already an indestructible box?? What do you guys think? I dont ship things like this much.

I'd love to pick this up.  Would work best for me in mid January when we head towards Atlanta.
