Where to donate 400+ shirts
« on: November 08, 2015, 06:57:13 PM »
We printed 400 shirts for an event back in August and the date changed and the customer decided they wanted to re-do all the shirts with the new date.  They told me they do not want the original shirts even though they paid for them.

Where's the best place to donate 400+ shirts?  I would keep them for rags for the rest of my life, but I just don't have room to keep them right now.

Well, even though they don't want 'em, they still may not want them donated and distributed. Then again, they may be fine with that. Bottom line, I'd ask.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

I was told to do whatever I wanted with them.  Donate/Keep/Trash.

My wife is the admin for a homeless shelter here in Tennessee. She can use them and distribute as needed. The only thing is, they can't take is it if there is any profanity, alcohol, nudity ect, on the print.
I assume they are race car Tess.

She would provide you with a tax deduction slip.

We've sent some to Africa on already existing missions trips. Franklin Graham's deal, Samaratan's Purse every Christmas time is a good cause if you wanted to get them out of the area for any reason.

We haven't used him, since we have access to the Southern Baptists missions through a friend. The starving kiddos in Africa wouldn't know (or care) that they had typos or various errors  :-\  on their one and only tee shirt from America.
