My wife was contacted today by a local organization that is going to participate in a march here in Austin for the local police forces, a "BACK THE BLUE" type of thing the weekend after this coming one. They asked if we could donate some shirts for the walk/march and I know many of you guys already donate a lot but I thought I would reach out to see if the good people of this forum could help us out any way you can. Even if you have half a dozen gray shirts laying around (sport gray, heather gray or light steel will work great for the simple design they're doing) and don't mind parting with them then send them my way. I know this is more of a local type of thing but if there isn't anything going on that you feel strongly about in your area and you can give some shirts to this march then I know it will mean a lot. We're not putting our logo on anything or openly publicizing our involvement but I would make it a point to thank publicly, via social media, with approval of course, those who can donate anything to the cause. I don't mind paying the way for those who want to ship via UPS and possibly Fedex (not sure we even have an open account with them these days) and anyone that has something to send, PM me and we can get the ball rolling.
As I said earlier, I know this is a local event and there are so many good things that need charitable support in your neighborhoods but if you'd like to help out with this then let me know.
