CTS + Roq Presses
« on: September 02, 2015, 11:37:08 AM »
I've been getting quite a few guys with roq presses and other machines asking how we are using cts with our roq presses....... Ryan and his guys were in my shop for the first time a few weeks back so I had them do a quick video showing how we use our special reg pallet on the press. Basically it's the same as what the m&r guys with cts+triloc are doing but the big key to why the roq is giving us quicker setups is how the pallet locks into the pallet arm. With our tri loc our pallet always had play in it which imo was the primary reason for us having to micro jobs. With the roq and how firm the pallet locks into the pallet arm all the excess play is removed. Here's the quick vid....... Obviously the under 1 minute does not include ink loading, squeegees, etc but to lock screens in that's as long as it takes.

Very fast setup, big ole time saver there... great vid and I like that HULK GREEN shop 8)  I got a DIY pallet somewhat like that for our press, but we still use film so we still have a little micro work.
Life is like Kool-Aid, gotta add sugar/hardwork to make it sweet!!

LOL, they call it the special registration pallet........ Works pretty much the same except you can adjust for any screen size on the fly and the orientation of how the screens bump into the pallet is different but concept is the same.

They do, they also have this. And with the PRU (kind of like the MHM FPU but without pins) you can marry the two
ideas like we've been talking about for years.
