I know. That subject line is poorly worded.  "Ending a sentence with a preposition, is something UP with which we should never PUT"

But I just decommissioned a 1400 that used to be wonderful, and my back up 1400 off the shelf turns out to register poorly. I have a 4800 that could be pressed into service in a few days, but I don't wanna pony up for the carts, unless I can't score some for cheap. With so many Direct To Screen users around here, it's worth a try.

Thanks!
Stan

I'll check, our 4800 crapped out last year, I just can't remember where I put them...

Steve

I found them, they probably need to be cleaned, but should work. Yours if you want them, you can send me your UPS # and we'll ship them on your account... we don't need them, so free should be OK, yes?

I made a mistake once; I thought I was wrong about something; I wasn't

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

A bad day here, 1400 crapped out, pressure washer crapped out--all in one swell foop. So I guess a slow response is better than no response. Especially "COLD and unresponsive"...never a good thing.

PM sent.

Thanks Steve!

This is a good idea.

We are about to pick up our 4800... anyone got carts collecting dust?

Full color cartridges still available. You might have to buy a set of chips from eBay, they are pretty cheap though.

I remembered you had a bunch... are they dye or pigment inks?

The price is certainly good enough... I just didn't want to be dipping into your "limited" supply. ;)

They are original EPSON cartridges, not sure if that makes them dye or pigment. You can just plop them in instead of the refillables and use the printer for color work too or just run them down with cleaning while using black to print your films.
I've used about 4 of each color so far and most of it was trying to revive a bad printer. If I send you few of each color, you should be good for few years!
And that would tax my "limited supply" so I would only have about 200 years worth left! ????

I know it's been a while, but do you happen to have any of these left pierre?  Since my 1400 crapped out I need to make my 4800 my inkjet transfer printer as well...
