One was one his own personal page you have to be a friend to see it (I can't see it either someone was emailing me these).  The other is on a Facebook group you also have to be a member of.  Title is on the top bar of that image.

Just to be clear Viper Screen Supply is in no means or manner involved in whatever all this is. Just looking out for a friend.

agh, I can't read today...somehow I read "looking out for an old friend"

Looks like a day where everyone going to need to double check my work. sorry tony

Back on topic though.  I agree with Alan that the RPM is a great machine.  Service from Rick is spotty and I went elsewhere very early on.  I really don't think he is doing that machine any favors.

Jason is a nice guy.  I've never spent money with him and I am not really sure I would.  I would honestly just try and buy the press direct from 2M

http://www.digitsmith.com/mark-alves-don-m-r-tech-scammed-me-out-ot-8-000-need-advice-48992.html

Bottom line when dealing with any broker though is do your due diligence. Spring for the airfare to see the equipment and use a payment method that offers protection.
A problem with even a well meaning broker is that they often have not even seen the equipment either. Next, many don't seem to have the wherewithal to deal with unexpected financial hiccups, but rather operate in a sort of ponzi scheme in which their next client's money is needed to fund any issue that cropped up with a deal that went South.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

I would never deal with a broker in this industry. So many stories. Many of the brokers never put their actual eyes on equipment anyway, so what are they really doing for you?

Yeah this is the advice I often hear. I wouldn't deal with a broker anyway, I would much rather deal with the actual person selling it and get some history. I don't really understand the need for brokers unless they are involved in refurbishing.

I will deal with a broker if they are an ACTUAL tech as well.

Winston is a prime example of this type person.
