Public Service Announcement - Jason Rodriguez is back Selling Equipment

Jason Rodriguez is back in the game. So, Buyer Beware as He has a new company 360 Machines & Supply,
When I heard about, I couldn't believe it but I've attached a pic where he according to the business registry website, he filed 90 days ago as a GA Corporation.

I don't know how many different companies this guy has operated under in the last few years, so I guess it's not that big of a surprise.

If you don't know the name, be glad! You can search any online screen printing forum (including TSB) for his name and read countless stories from different perspectives or just him out at ripoffreport.com

Pretty sure they have another business there, Kolormatrix or something. They were spamming a screen printing Facebook I follow daily with specials

I dont think they are the same. I googled them & couldn't find anything bad or about Jason being there.

Kolormatrix is a fantastic company. I have done business with them their service is excellent.

Kolormatrix and Jason are not related.  Although they used to be Freedom Supply and that is where he got his start in this industry.

What is considered to be the best predictor or future behavior?  That's rhetorical of course but anyone feel free to answer that if you want.  I won't go so far as to say the next person that gets ripped by this guy will have deserved it, but in this day of information at your fingertips you gotta bury your head in the sand to get had by him.  And I'm sure he'll say he's not what he appears to be and the problems he had in the past were not really his doing, but one or two bad deals is somewhat forgivable with the nature of used equipment, but I'd bet that over half of the deals this dude did went bad.  He either had the worst luck of any broker in the world or he worked damn hard to take people of their money.  I'd be a mess mentally and physically if I sold a press to someone and they never got the equipment.  I would not be able to function.

He's going to keep doing it because this industry allows him to. I am involved in a few niches with my personal life and in my business. For whatever reason people in the screen printing industry either don't seem to speak like other industries or just don't care or do the research like others. When a guy in the Corvette world rips off a couple people he never gets to come back, it simply is known everywhere. 

How this industry isn't similar blows me away.  This guy will keep doing it and we will keep seeing stories.

This industry has a ton of turnover and probably less than 1% of the printers out their even know these types of forums exist. Thats the main reason why these guys can prey on the unsuspecting and keep getting away with it.

Kolormatrix and Jason Rodriguez are in NO Way, Form or Fashion, related or doing ANY Type of Business Together!
Actually, its kind of insulting to say we are, if you google our name you will find 99.5% Positive Reviews.

Yes, he did work for me at Freedom Imaging Solutions but he was let go Before he began his "questionable behavior". Brian Brownlee from MHM, plus Brannon and Scott from Spot Color Supply also used to work for me and none of them have the poor reputation that Jason has acquired. This is an "alleged" personality / morality defect, not a company related problem.

In regards to many of the opinions shared here, I will simply nod my head and refrain from any further comments about him or his new venture.

Sorry if this comes off short, as it not meant to be, I just wanted to set the record straight. Thanks!

Jason Rodriguez is finally quieting.  Got the news today that this crook is finally declaring bankruptcy and leaving the industry for good.  Hopefully he is out for good.  He has harmed enough screen printing business for his life time.  I guess he lived up to his reputation and can't do what he use to do.  I guess he owed a lot of money to people.  Once a crook always a crook.

There are more than a few equipment brokers that have gone away only to come back because they can't do it in another industry (rip people off essentially).  I'm very surprised the most well known of the equipment brokers hasn't slipped back into our realm, but I still wouldn't bet any amount of money that he'll never come back.  Beds for big folks must be a booming industry or he's found other "soft spots" to exploit.
