Gildan 8000 DriBlend, Black and dye migration

Can anyone give me a bleed report on the G8000s?  We have a couple sets of Black getting a lot of white and yellow for hilite colors.  I'm thinking Performance inks just to be super safe but don't want to go to that if it's not needed.  It's a scheduling hang up to adjust the dryer for the Perf runs so we really try to minimize it.

Probably sounds like a dumb question but the majority of our poly/cotton blends are the mid to higher tier stuff and Quick goes on all of those.  I get sketched out with the bottom shelf 50/50s though and wasn't sure if the performance angle of these Ts changes things.

we always have issues with 8000s in black and navy!

That's what I needed to know.  Does just running a performance underbase and standard top color work or do you go all low cure/poly for the inks?

usually we just do a barrier gray base with standard top colors. but i'd be interested to see what others do!

I just do a LB underbase. Never had any issues. Just watch your dryer temp and don't over flash. I am printing 1000 this next week and I am not worried at all.

Thanks y'all.  I set it up with Performance White for the UB, standard Epic top colors.

We've printed a lot of black 8000's using GSG's Star Tex low bleed white and haven't had any problems.

75% of what I print is on 8000's.  The only ones I've had problems with are red and maroon.  They seem to get hot at a lower temp.  I'm always dropping the dryer temp for them.
