when I was a kid we called that the movies. For $.35 you got 101 cartoons + The Three Stooges on a Saturday afternoon :)

when I was a kid we called that the movies. For $.35 you got 101 cartoons + The Three Stooges on a Saturday afternoon :)

I recall gettng $0.35 to get into the movies, 2 features, and a half dozen cartoons, and 10 cents to get two nickel candy bars (bigger and heavier than what you pay a buck for now) at the drug store on the way to the theatre...
