Does anyone make a WB silver or Gold Shimmer? I could have sworn somebody did. Matsui maybe?

Matsui makes a silver. You can tint it though I doubt being able to get to gold. they might
make other colors by now, haven't checked in a while.

It's cool, but unless you really have a need for a WB metallic there's not really a point.
The hand isn't drastically different from plastisol, and it's $$.

I need it for a slipmat print. It requires no hand, otherwise it rubs on the record, and can damage it

Haha, buncha pissed dj's and/or vinyl aficionados.

Not sure what to tell ya, pretty sure it's the same type of particles as in plastisol shimmers, and that's
what will give you the hand.

Maybe a clear topcoat protective layer? Though anything like that will not give you the slip you need for scratching.

we have a ton of powders, pigments, and flakes left over from when we did flatstock printing. I think i'm gonna mess around with that, and see if we can use any of those with CCI bases.

You can!  I've used tinted CCI W-Base in the past with pearlescent powder from TW to make a pretty smooth looking yellow pearlescent.  You will lose some of it in the wash so expect that, but it held the particles surprisingly well for a franken-ink mix.  Of course, it takes some spermentin' to figure out how much of a certain particle you can load the ink with and have the ink still flowing the way you want and passing through the mesh you want.
