Is there anyway to save a garment that was pulled off the press crooked

We just did a batch of tri blend Next Level tees with an 8 color blocky text print, and our unloader pulled them off in such a way that it elongated and stretched the design, so that instead of being a straight line, it droops to one side on the right.

Is there anything we can do to fix it?

Toss them in a clothes dryer it might pull them back in shape

I've never done this but possibly you could run them through the dryer and try and straighten them as they come out and are still hot.   Worth a try.

Yeah, but what two points will you grab to straighten it out?  Sounds like someone needs to loose a finger.

I would try a heat press.  Put shirt on press. straighten. Press.

Wb. Wasn't crazy tacky, but enough to hold that tee down!

The idea is to "hot pull" the graphic in the opposite direction of the torque. Works depending on how drastic it is, the fabric content, and the actual design ie: straight lines, boxes etc.

I would guess the guy is unloading by pulling the shoulders correct?  It may take a second longer, but on larger geometric designs I ALWAYS pull from the bottom of the shirt first, up and away from me in a quick motion to unstick the majority of the design, then pull the shoulders up and toward me to remove the shirt.  It keeps warping to a minimum.

I always found pulling up the sides a little first then down the middle works great, I have a knuckle head here that has a chronic habit of distorting images when he pulls, and has the really chronic habit of not saying and continuing on like nothing is wrong. I swear sometimes i wish my desk was on top of the damn auto.

Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, this type of thing can also happen during loading (especially with tri-blends) where the shirt is stretched on to the pallet and then retracts when taken off.  So don't fire your unloader yet, unless of course you were the loader.
