Print platens lifting
« on: October 16, 2014, 01:55:03 AM »
We accidently left the flash on for too long and it cause two of our printing platens to bulge, seems like the adhesive holding the top aluminum sheet has released.
I thought of putting them upside down on a smooth surface with weights on the back, drilling a few holes in the back and putting in a adhesive.
Not sure if this work.
Anybody have any experience with this problem?

You will have to replace the honeycomb pallets. It won't go away.

that is what's called cooking a pallet..

can't fix em, have to replace em.

If this was a rubber top, just replace the rubber.
