Light bulb for 2003 Radicure
« on: September 24, 2014, 07:22:03 PM »
The little bulb that goes to the "signal stack" that says its up to temp.

My manual says it's a 110v lamp but the stack itself says that it's 24v ac 220v  Which I put the meter on and I got like 56v.

Look on the schematic. It will tell you correctly as well as a part number.

The schematic I was sent by your guys in PDF says it's coming off the 120v line of the step down transformer... also nothing that shows I shouldn't be reading 120v on that socket.  Maybe I didn't have a good connection with my meter, I'll probably follow it into the cabinet and see what I have at the source.

Also it just tells me "L4" and "TOWER LIGHT GREEN", no part numbers.

Another quick question, the LED's on the current sensor cores aren't very bright at all... not practical to discern from any real distance.  I know the ones I had added to my Chaparral could be seen from across my shop.  Is there a trick to making them light up brighter so they are useful?  I understand how they work so, not a whole lot can be done since they just induct their power from the coil wrapped around the leads to the panel.  Maybe they aren't sized properly?  Next time I get into my storage I'll pull one off my Chaparral and see if there is a big difference, they had a smaller diameter coil, so maybe they were able to pull more juice.

You cannot make them brighter. They are there as indicators amps are being used only.  Register you M&R product on store.mrprint.com and you will have complete access to all photos and bill of material for your specific dryer.

Gilligan ,

the tower light is 1013046 ( it should read PLG110-1G on the side )
just the bulb itself is 1013042A

Also the electrical schematic , users manual and an interactive catalog already exists for your dryer

once you log in the store there are two blue buttons
one reads " Serial Number Details " this is where the schematic and the manual is linked
other one reads " Open Catalog " this is the interactive catalog

Have a great day .

I checked again and I guess I didn't have a good connection with my meter... I was getting 108v this time, that's good enough.

One problem is that it's just a $4 part... I just ordered $400 worth of parts for it and since it wasn't coming up in the list of parts for a radicure (and my serial number doesn't pull up the catalog button, see pic attached), I didn't order it when placing that order.  So, now I have to wait till I'm gonna order at least $25 worth of parts before I can get the bulb unless I'm told what size/type socket it is so I can just buy it locally.

No open catalog button here:
