Equipment Price Check 8/8
« on: August 08, 2014, 08:55:10 AM »
I am preparing to list one of our autos for sale.
Hoping to glean some insight as to what might be the current value.
Any thoughts/suggested pricing from you guys would be really appreciated..

I am very, very motivated to sell this machine. As in, it will be a super deal for someone.
Not necessarily trying to make a heavy push to sell it on this board, but would certainly entertain any fair and reasonable offers.
Just trying to wrap my head around what might be considered fair market value in order to adjust to 'fire sale' pricing.

6/8 Anatol Horizon - Servo, Electric Print Heads  (Purchased new 2009)
2 Rapid Wave 16x20 quartz flashes + 10 extra quartz lights
1 Full Set Adult Platens
1 Full Set Youth Platens
1 Full Set Action Engineering Polo Platens
1 Full Set 4" Sleeve Platens
1 Full Set 5" Platens
Full Set of 70 Duro Squeegees with Full Set of winged floods.
3 Sleeve Squeegees with winged floods

Safety Bar included.

We don't use spray tac. This machine is clean, clean clean.
Have not figured out the crating yet, but will make some calls and have it ready for ship or pick up.

A very robust and quit machine. Has served us very well, and we have taken very good care of this machine.
It would make a valuable first auto or addition to any print shop.

Thanks.  John

I am able to provide pics upon request.

I'd guess around 25k for the press and two flashes, adult platens & squeegee/floods. The rest of the platens I'd sell separately if you have the time/motivation. You'll make more money that way.

I'm not an expert at all, but around 15-17k seems to be the going rate on late 2000s versions of these on digitsmith.  Not sure how much the peripherals add.

If you're close to Austin though, I think the going rate is $1500 and I'll be there tomorrow to pick it up :D

15-17 if it was all air but this machine is servo/ac which bumps its value a bit and id agree around 25k

Hey Fellas...

Thanks for the feedback. For what it's worth, this machine is out the door for $19K. Flashes, platens, safety bar and  everything.
I will let you know how it goes... I have  a few leads that have expressed interest..

I don't know the impression count, but that sounds like a really great deal. You should have that this sold real fast!
