Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas Edison
We use 14" squeegees in our chopper heads, as we print on 14x18 platens... we spend a lot of time carding the ink back into the center of the screen.I'm considering upgrading to winged floodbars, but Action Engineering doesn't carry the 14" variety in 'stock', so I'd have to order 12 of them... (which is a pretty good chunk of change, when I only really need 2 or 3 of them).a few questions...1. would it even be worth it to use a 16" winged flood bar.. guessing not, since it won't bring the ink back into the center of the screen...2. does anybody have any 13-14" winged floodbars 'laying' around that they might be willing to sell? -- or know where to just buy a few of them at a time?standard M&R style fit should be fine.-J
I took a Floorbar down to a Sheet Metal Shop and had wings made that I could attach to my existing Floodbar. $10.00 each
new flood bars are in and have used them on a few jobs.. HUGE improvement over non winged versions...
