What is everyone using for containers? we usually use polyuretane containers typically used for soup, but i'm wondering what everyone else uses?

Good question, we've been  using the quart containers from Uline with the lid, they are great and all, but too exact on the size, we would like a slightly larger container to have more room to mix the quart of ink without it wanting to blob out.

Can you store plastisol in them? I know some of the plastics dissolve  after a couple days of having plastisol in them.

These are the ones we have been using for the past two years. They are soft sided, won't crack if dropped and the ridge in the bottom flattens out so you don't have that layer of unmixed ink in that groove. Use them for plastisol, WB, discharge, solvent inks and most spirits and solvents. We had the hard side but they would crack if dropped.

Yes, the clear ones from Uline. The white ones are chemical resistant. I put some Union Process Yellow in a clear one and it absorbed the oil out of the ink and cracked the bottom, leaving a mess.

Used plastic butter containers always worked well for me.

we use the same clear ones for the smaller containers and the stronger polypropylene (still soft sided, but slightly stronger. The color is slightly milky rather than clear.) in the quart size. Both are dirt cheap compared to the uline stuff.

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Been using the same ones for close to two years now. I get them from the same place actually. No complaints!
