Just finished heat pressing a rush job 100 shirt sample run for a clothing line that went on Next Level Ringspuns of different varieties so i couldn't get the right ink for the job so ran with street fighter and had to heat press them. Got some large jobs coming from them tomorrow and need a good ink preferably Rutland as that's  what my next day supplier carries.

Or if any of the left coast suppliers have a different brand that has good matte down properties I would be open to that as well

We use the Tidy white from Rutland and have great results.  Some garments it simply doesn't matter what ink you use and you have to go down to a really low mesh to matte down the fibers but hopefully that garment isn't one of them.  We use different mesh counts than most but we don't use a smoothing screen.

We went from Rutland StreetFigther to IC Legacy white. Higher opacity, softer finish, no puff, better underbase, faster flash, waaaaay better fiber matte down

A clear discharge underbase can work wonders with a lot of troublesome white ink out there.

I'd say it's more important in how you print an ink than what ink you are printing. Don't get me wrong
there are garbage inks, but the majority of them are usable and will perform admirably provided
you are using the correct technique for that inks characteristics.

Fabric is a whole 'nother ball game, and like Alan said, sometimes you gotta go low, and sometimes there
really ain't much you can do about it. I can't recall printing anything but waterbased on Next Level, but they're
a Chinese product so I wouldn't be surprised if something is lacking...

Midwest carries Wilflex products. Yep.
