Has to be the the best white. Tried CCI white and Matsui, Sericol too but the Union is really pretty white not this off white. Even though I have to say the CCI is very good too. Union product code DSPP 1003

That is what we use for our "great white". I have kept pestering sales reps to find out if there is any word if Rutland and Union will start using the same formulas ect. But they all say that they are too remain two separate companies... Sucks for me because the local Rutland dealer here is ridiculously high when it comes to pricing on Rutland ink. To be fair, I buy VERY little from them so that probably has something to do with it.

I hear that they won't merge because we all still buy both, & the time to go though & see what is the best out of both lines isn't worth it if we're still going to buy it.

We just asked our rep for a sample of the union white to try.... If you ask me it is the EXACT same as the Rutland white discharge! The Rutland white has been our go to discharge white for a good white for over a year. It has a unique smell, a blueish tint in the bucket, and nice and runny. These three characteristics are rather unique to the Rutland white. Well, turns out the Union white has the exact same characteristics and same finished color. With both of them made by the same company it is to much of a coincidence for them to not be the same!
This is super good news for us as we were having a bit of a challenge deciding on a good vendor for the Rutland. The Union white is also oodles cheaper!

I will say it again. This stuff rocks. The only thing is I have got more than one bucket from my supplier with the bottom cracked, so make sure you check you're buckets when you receive them. Probability a supplier problem but still.

Some new product (not white) heading my way for beta testing. Interesting to note that DC products remained virtually the same for almost thirty years but in the last few years new products springing up all around us.

Have any of you used CCI activator with the Rutland Plus White?
What about using CCI D_Base with the Plus White?

The activator is the same across the board I've noticed different crystal particle sizes bot NBD. Most bases and whites can be cross mixed but I'd stay away from that.

for us, we still get bolder results with the CCI white! but we've tried both union and rutland, and the union was the exact same, just half the price!

We ran a short job last Saturday with the Union Discharge White and overprinted navy plastisol on it. Very white, most impressive, customer loved it. Now, if only every product made of every material discharged...
