This hit me right after  I posted, you can make a real cheap and dirty screen rack out of simple PVC pipe. A bit of a "moosegoldberg" arrangement but it can work estimated cost under $40.00.
Hope you can read the moose scratching ;)

No offense Mike, but the wooden one is probably cheaper to build and more sturdy.

I got 2 aluminum bakers racks for about $85 each and simply cut the bars they gave me and got a small section of larger aluminum box to sleeve over the cut pieces to make it the size I wanted.  I did have to replace their 4 pieces of threaded rod.  So I probably paid about $95 each.  But they 'look' nice, lol.

Screen, I dig it but you can't build a wood rack with a hack saw, drill bit and a can of solvent cement.
But best of all it qualifies as a moosegoldberg hall of fame candidate. ;)

I've been using PVC racks for years. If you cut the pieces to fit well newmans ride on the 'T' joint and the screen face does not touch the cross bar. Very light weight and washable. I like a clean screen drying space. Sealing wood is a pain. When I was truly ghetto I didn't glue anything and it broke down when not in use. Moosegoldberg, cool.

Have you not seen Back to the Future?!

If not, you should... it's pretty classic.  Now part 2 is meh... still kind of a classic.... 3, you might as well skip it, even though they tie 2's ending into it pretty hard.  My understanding is they filmed them basically back to back... but it's pretty weak and of course the plot holes are abound!
