For those of you that do this, we just bought a roland printer. Right now we have a free roll of Oracle pressure sensitive Vinyl. It seems pretty good. What other brands are around i should try

thanks!

A lot of people use the 3M IJ series… We are pretty satisfied with the Oracal though

Oracal, Avery, 3M (Do not mention it to Homer), Avery, MacTac......

Oracal seem to be the choice for most. Very good quality for the price. See if you can find a house brand of the specific supplier you will be using for a regular stickers. No need to go overboard for those.
Try contacting your local Fellers rep and have a chat with him/her, they will explain quite a lot to you.

Do not forget the laminator :)  Most of the stickers should be laminated. You can use Big Squeegee for smaller stuff, but a laminator is something you will need down the road.

Good luck

We got the new versacamm 300i. We were told we didn't need a laminator, and that was one of the big reasons we went this one.

So far the Orcal vinyl has been great, but i don't like that it's branded on the back

That is a "huge" selling point......Oracal is "premium" and if you are using it, you should let that advantage work for you.....

you've been had. you need a laminator...nobody uses liquid lam anymore.

...keep doing what you're doing, you'll only get what you've got...

Laminators, that was a lie, you need them is you want to have a durable decal

Affordable ones, I have MVT500  http://www.masterlaminator.com/

or get a manual one from eBay

Oracal is great stuff, both Avery and 3M have hung out users to dry in one way or another in the past and Oracal has gained wide market share because of it.

You need laminate if you want to do anything for outdoor usage.
