Need a Tech. for Anatol Equipment....
« on: February 25, 2014, 12:32:22 PM »
I am in need a Technician for my Anatol machine.  (Stratus 8/10 all electric)

Press needs:
-complete machine Calibration
  leveling screen holders, pallets etc....
-Centering all Bearings to the catch forks
-Replacing all proximity switches, help in ordering the correct replacement parts
-Trouble shoot electrical issues funky errors and such
The damn foot petal just quit working while I am typing this >:(
-Chopper cylinders do not work correctly

I do not have the time or want to take pictures of various parts and areas of my press and wait 3-5 days for a response that does absolutely nothing to help.

I am located in South MS

Chris

Chris, if that much is wrong with the how in heck are you printing on it now? it sounds like a total rebuild or you just bought a used press that your want to refurb.  Anatol don't have the techs in the field as another company we all know, but who else does LOL good luck and I'm sure you'll get it done.

Thank you all for the quick response.  I have a call into Brannon with Spot Color Supply now.

I would say Brian Binkspot as well or Shawn McPherson he is from up my way, 612-281-7532

Talked to Brian in LB, he offered to help any time and did a few years back and he never new it was me, Really stand-up guy just trying to find someone close to come in.
Alex, is Shawn the guy I was talking to at LB selling the LED exposure units?
I bought ours new in 07 also, but it don't run like a pulpwood truck lol, maybe a VW bug...you got a lot of prints on it?

Darryl

Darryl, my best guess is 800K+, hard to tell since the control panel has reset 3 times now due to a "glitch".
If I had a Blue, Green, Yellow, Light Green, Black or White machine it would just now be getting broke in.  Oh yea it was installed in 09' not 07'.

Thanks to all for the help.
Chris

Yes, Shawn is the guy behind those LED units. He is a good guy and I know he travels. BUT if I remember correctly Brian did buy us a few beers so I would give him first dibs!  ;D

I would be glad to help but you would be better off finding someone local you can call on. The cost of travel and time just getting to the job site can add up fast, often more then the cost of the repair.

I doubt Anatol has anyone local or for that matter own a map or globe, they referred me to a few people being the "Closest Tech" meaning at least a 10 hour drive each way.

If parts are not available from the factory I'm willing to bet OTS has them on the shelf. If its just prox switches and other common items they can be sourced locally.

Try Spotcolor, Brandon or Scott they used to be dealers and outside Atlanta. If they can't help you they may be able to point you in the right direction.

Just ordered parts from Anatol, they had what was needed.  The service tech Kamil (sorry for misspelling your name) was helpful in getting me the correct part(s).

Brannon at Spot Color is working travel times and such.

I normally call on OTS for tech support, Randy is the ANATOL guru and is a super nice guy.

I got a name of a guy in FL here some where, if all else fails let me know and I'll get it to you. Also if there was any validity to the TAS/anatol  service partnership you could even maybe call TAS America.

Good luck man, wish I could help I know how it can be!

This is just sad...as usual.  No time to help anybody until they say something in public?  That says a lot about a company.

Hang in there man. When I was going through this I kept thinking "dear lord, what would this be like if it was an auto".  I don't even want to imagine what you're going through.
