I'm not that familiar with these machines, but the way the guy that owns it explained it to me there is a large ring about 9 feet across that holds the platens on. I am limited on entrance size and 9' isn't going to work. I figured with all the M&R people on here someone might have some info on it.
take it off, you need to have a tech register the press anyway so take the heads off, the ring and each pallet arm....don't skimp -hire a tech.
