We just got done running 400 discharge t-shirts, and in order to get good penetration on the shirt, we had to hit them 2x... not a big deal, but this time the speed of the flood/print was definitely holding us up, and we could have gone much faster if we didn't have to have the press hitting it 2x...

156 mesh, white discharge on 'antique royal blue' gildan shirts...

(they printed great, but definitely required 2 hits to look their best)

Any kind of Royal is iffy to begin with, I know the Antiques have been pretty good about being reactive though.

We can get (over) saturation even on 280 mesh. It's all about squeegee duro/angle/speed/pressure and ink viscosity.
Try 7% water, soft squeegee, heavy pressure and a medium pace stroke.

Single stroking is incredibly important on large runs.
