...I bought a 32" lcd tv for less than the price of a 20" monitor during the holiday season, year before last. You don't hafta fight the Black Friday crowd to get a good deal...I think I found mine a coupla weeks before Christmas.
...if you go the TV route, it doesn't have to be anything high end or spectacular. This one is a Dynex (Best Buys house brand) and shows images just fine. I think it was about $220 at the time.
