Nozzle check, what's missing? Clean, check, clean check, clean check.
If that doesn't work you can soak the park pad with windex and leave
the head on it over night. If that doesn't work then it's a possibility that
the head is dying. Usually though, they go one nozzle at a time, so if you have more
than one nozzle missing it's likely just a clog. Newly hot weather will do this
to printers.

We recently retired a 9000 that was finally going. One nozzle would not clear
no matter what we did. It's a sad day, but these things happen.

I would just contact the inkjet doctor. www.theinkjetdoctor.com and he sells the black print heads. He has some on ebay now for $149. I recently gutted my 3000 took all the color heads out, and removed the ink supply lines.

David is a great guy! From what I can tell, the inkjet dr just ripped him off! not a big fan of the smear tactics and IP theft. . .

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!
