My 2 cents; I opened it in PS, saw it was an RGB image, and converted it to Grayscale. I choose from one of 2 options usually; save the file as a grayscale, and print from Illustrator, or, convert to Bitmap mode, output resolution to 1200, 50 line, 22.5°, ellipse dots, and print from Illy.
