Finally Making an Intro Post
« on: January 14, 2013, 11:24:23 AM »
Hey everyone! I've been "consuming" on the forums for a while now but I thought it might be time to make a proper introduction.

I'm Trey and I work at Dynamic Designs in good ol' Killeen, Texas. I've been out here for a little over nine years now. And, coincidentally, that's how long I've been involved in screen printing.

Most of the time I stay in the Art Cave and manage our team of designers but more and more these days I find myself working with our Production Manager (who should be on here somewhere) to experiment with new techniques and streamline our production process.

There are three things that occupy my time while I'm not at work or in graduate school: design, photography and barbecue. Seeing as this is a screen printing forum I'll try to hold my thoughts to design and how it interacts with screen printing.

Hello Trey!

Welcome aboard! As you mentioned, this is primarily a screenprinting and screenprinting art related forum, but many other topics come up. We just revived the photography thread and I'd love to see some of your photos posted there.

So kick back and relax, make yourself at home!

Howdy Trey, and as Pierre mentioned, we all have other lives as well,  and have all kinds of discussions in the General section.
No specific BBQ area as of yet cause then we'd also have to accommodate bakers and sous chefs (to say nothing of the descendents of unsuccessful hunters, the vegetarians.  ;D

I visited Killeen when my brother was stationed there, I think its also famous for having Elvis there aswell.  I was out of place in Texas.  I could stand on top of my car and see the entire state!  And no trees, WTF?  Gotta have my mountains here in GA.  Welcome to the board.

I see trees wherever I go, but I don't frequent Killeen very often.  No disrespect meant, (which means someone is about to get disrespected) but Killeen isn't exactly the most scenic area of our state.  You can see a long way from the top of a ladder around that area though.

We got a few mountains as well.

Yep, great place here, lots of nice folks, with lots of hobbies, so nothing is off topic if it's starting a new thread... glad you're here.
