Try sericol fluoros, no need for a ub there.

Flashing DC is not a great idear.  If you got to do it just a quick warm up to evaporate some of the water is all you need, unless you have excellent ventilation over the flash and next station, don't discharge fully on press.

I got a bucket if the qcm (jantex) black for practically nothing and...eh.  The ink is very "gloppy" to me.  Like it wants to sort if glop together and does not thin well.  Reminds me of craft inks like Speedball, etc.  I prefer sericol and cci.  But at 14 for a gallon, no complaints.
