Embroidery tip of the day:)
« on: October 31, 2012, 06:00:34 PM »
Here is a tip I thought you might find interesting or helpful.

In the time it takes to trim and start up again, it is the same amount of time as running 100 stitches.
So, with that in mind, try to limit the amount of trims/color changes as much as possible because when added up over time, it cuts into your production time.  This is particularly something to have in mind when you have spaces in between letters.  Many times I ask a customer if they don't mind to pull the letters closer together so you can just walk the stitch between the letters instead of trimming.  It really helps cut down on production time and also decreases the amount of thread breaks you can have.

Happy Stitching!
